Amy Wendel Amy Wendel, Director and Co-Writer
Amy is an alumna of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Film Program. Her previous films include the festival award-winning short films Weightless, Covered Girls, and Bodies, each of which aired nationally on either IFC or Showtime. Amy also directed the short comedy and political satire, Foreign Policy, which screened at festivals in the U.S. and Italy.

In her pre-film days, Amy taught 7th grade as part of the Teach for America program, earned a Masters in Education from Stanford University, and climbed 8,000-meter peaks, including an attempt on Mt. Everest.

Daniel Meisel Daniel A. Meisel, Producer and Co-Writer
Daniel produced and co-wrote the screenplay for Bodies, an adaptation of the short story by Jessica Shattuck published in The New Yorker magazine that aired nationally on IFC. He also produced and wrote the short comedy and political satire, Foreign Policy, which screened at festivals in the U.S. and Italy. Daniel is producing several feature projects currently in development.

Daniel was previously V.P. of Business Affairs for Canadian technology startup Telbotics, Inc., and a litigation attorney with San Francisco’s Cooper, White & Cooper. He has written book and film reviews for Los Angeles Lawyer and The Lancet. He has a J.D. from U.C. Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. with Honors from Wesleyan University.
